Job Purpose:
To support the HR department in ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies, maintaining a fair and lawful work environment for all volunteers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
– Conduct regular audits and reviews of HR processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities.
– Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs.
– Address and resolve compliance-related inquiries and issues.
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive compliance efforts.
– Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Experience in HR compliance or related roles.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
– Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with non-profit or volunteer organizations.
– Familiarity with HR compliance software and tools.
Work Environment:
– This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.
