Job Purpose:
To support the HR department in managing employee benefits programs, ensuring that all volunteers and team members have access to and understand their benefits options.
Key Responsibilities:
– Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
– Assist volunteers and team members with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
– Ensure compliance with benefits policies and regulations.
– Maintain accurate records of benefits enrollment and usage.
– Collaborate with benefits providers and brokers to manage and update plans.
– Develop and conduct benefits education sessions for volunteers and team members.
– Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in employee benefits.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Experience in benefits administration or related roles.
– Strong organizational and analytical skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with non-profit or volunteer organizations.
– Familiarity with benefits management software and tools.
Work Environment:
– This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.
