World Health Organization (WHO) reported that in 2019, there were more than a 1.5million avoidable deaths of adolescents and young adults from self-harm, substance abuse, violence, maternal conditions, and injuries (including road traffic accidents and drowning). These avoidable deleterious health consequences underscore the need for targeted age appropriate, effective, and sustainable health interventions.
